Dear Khun Sontaying, Khun Poungtip and Khun Maeo.,
Thank you so much for your concern and asking. :)

Most of our relatives in the Philippines lives in Manila and for those who lives in the countryside and the house are not in the direct path of the storm, are ok and not badly affected.

Yes, many provinces in the central parts of the Philippines bore the blunt from the typhoon, It would take sometimes for those affected to recover and put their lives back together again. Our thoughts are with them.
It looked rather grusome watching from the news as the typhoon was well over category 5 and was one of the strongest to make a landfall. It is sad to see beautiful places we visited in the past which are now badly destroyed.

Three weeks ago, we had category 5 (Saint Jude's storm) passed over our town with the gusts of wind over 70 mph in our area. It was a bit acary!, many trees were uprooted but other than that, every things is ok. By far, it wasn't anything like what had happened in the Philippines.

Our plan was to go and live there for a while after next year when I will be 65. We may have to re-think about it carefully as our children don't want us to do that now.

I read Thai news everyday and hoping that all these demonstrations don't lead to anything serious. I'd loved to see all Thais are united again.

Best regards to you all. :D

Take care,
