Over here, the word "old fashioned" also meaning that you are a kind of person who is somewhat "reserved" and very much "conservative"! A good thing indeed! :) I would like to think that I am too!

Rightly so K. Poungtip :D Thailand is the only country in South East Asia that never been colonised by the West. Something that all Thais to be proud of.
Following a fashion to some extent or having a plastic surgery for correction can be a good thing as it boost confidence and self esteem to the person. I am whole heartedly agree to that :D
But when it comes to bleaching skin and have hair dyed to look like farang, I think it is so unnecessary! We are as pretty as we are with dark hair, dark eyes and a honey skin tone and we should be proud of what and who we are, yes?
Having said that, I don't hate people who does! They have the right to do what they like with their life! It is just something that I will not do, I am what I am, that's all :D

Yes, my brother was very lucky during his flying career with the army. He was patroling the Laos & Cambodia borders with Thailand during the 80s. Has been shot at from below a few times but always back safely! Thanks to those bulletproof pilot's seat and helmet!
So sad to hear about the plight of those 9 soldiers in the Black Hawk (and other two helicoptors). My thoughts are with their families.
