Here it is, the meaning of the word "Locum" that you've asked!
Locum, (short for the Latin phrase locum tenens) is a person who temporarily fulfills the duties of another. For example, a Locum doctor is a doctor who works in the place of the regular doctor when that doctor is absent, or when a hospital is short-staffed.
What happened was that my successor who took over from me after my retirement is currently on holiday yachting in the Mediterranean Sea. The hospital made a good offers to me and I was rather bored at home so I went back to run the department while he is away. :D
Winter comes to an end for this year! Today is a very hot and sunny day (14 degree! ).
Emmie and I spent most of the day in our back garden. I mow the lawn while she attends to her flower plants. Hard work that is!, aching all over! :oops:
We could do with a Thai massage now!!! :lol:
The weather forecast for tomorrow is going to be hot and sunny too! :D

P.S. :idea: K.Poungtip., There is an easier way than using dictionary!! If you log on to "Google" then type anything that you wish to know in the top bar then click "Google Search". It will give you many choices of free encyclopedias to use. "Wikipedia" is the one I found quite reliable and very useful.
